I can't wait to make your cake! But before I do, let's go through the fine print.

Go make yourself a cup of tea, take a seat and please take a few minutes to read through the following Terms and Conditions before placing your order. By placing an order, accepting your service agreement and paying a deposit with Mignone Cakes Pty Ltd, you agree to be subject to the Terms and Conditions listed below.
DEPOSIT & CONFIRMATION
As a cake aficionado, you know how much love and care goes into making these beauties. Once your request has been received, I will email you a quote, which will be valid for 7 days. Once you accept your quote, I'll send you an invoice with the details for you to double check. By paying your deposit, you are confirming that all details for your booking are correct (contact details, date and venue of event, design specifics, etc). If there are any errors, please let me know so I can fix them up before you confirm.
Please note that a non-refundable deposit of 25% will be required within 7 days of you accepting the quote. Until this is paid, your booking will not be confirmed, and the date you've requested your cake for will remain available to other bookings. I make this request not to be a cruel cake thief, but in recognition that this is a small business. I only have the capacity to take on a few big event orders per week, so when one is cancelled, even if I haven't already started making your cake, I will have lost other potential orders for that week.
BALANCE
A month out from your big day, you'll be busy making sure your shoes are worn in and the weather is going to be compliant. With so much on your plate, I'll send you an email around that time to remind you that the balance of your order is due to be paid two weeks before the event.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Sometimes things happen that mean cake is no longer required. I get it - it's a mad world! If this happens to you, please advise me in writing via email to hello@mignonecakes.com as soon as possible.
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to your event: If you have made full payment, you will be refunded the balance, minus the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event: In the event of a cancellation so close to the date of the event, I am sadly unable to provide a refund, as the ingredients will most likely already have been purchased and some things may have already been made.
If I need to cancel your booking for any reason: I will provide a full refund.
DATE CHANGES
If you need to change the date of your event, I ask that you advise me at least 14 days in advance via email to hello@mignonecakes.com. An administration fee of $50.00 will be charged for each date change.
COVID-RELATED CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
When it comes to C-words, I'd much prefer CAKE over COVID, but sometimes it's just not avoidable. If you run into any COVID speed bumps that are outside of anyone's control, I will of course work with you to arrange a refund or a date change with as little extra costs as possible. If a COVID related cancellation or change occurs with less than 14 days notice, a full refund may not be possible, but I can assure you that I will do everything in my power to make things as fair as I can for both parties.
DESIGN REQUESTS
Please send me cake inspiration pics when placing an order and I'll work hard to create a cake that takes inspiration from them. However, I won't disrespect other maker's by cloning their pieces, and I won't disrespect you by giving you a cake that's not as unique as you are.
ORDER CHANGES
I get it - sometimes we need to make changes. And that's all good. Just let me know via email at hello@mignonecakes.com at least two weeks before your event and I'll do my very best to accommodate. Please note that while most minor changes won't incur an extra cost, some major changes (like the size of the cake, the flavour or the delivery address) may alter the final cost.
ALLERGENS
I love all sorts of ingredients here at the Mignone Cakes Pty Ltd Kitchen, including gluten, nuts and dairy. While I have a mountain of food safety processes in place and do my very best to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, I can't guarantee that my cakes are 100% allergy free. If you have a serious allergy, unfortunately the only way to be sure is not to eat any cake... I'm sorry!
STORAGE
If your cake is delivered on the day of the event, just keep it in the fridge if it is a hot day or in a cool place if it is a cooler day until it's ready to make its grand entrance. If you receive your cake the day before it is going to be eaten, it's best to store it in the fridge overnight. Just make sure you take it out of the fridge and bring it down to room temperature before serving - no one wants to see you commit the cardinal sin of serving stone cold buttercream!
DELIVERY
I have a few options to get your cake to your event:
Pick up: If you would like to pick your cake up from the Mignone Cakes Pty Ltd kitchen, please let me know so we can arrange a time that works for both parties. I recommend transporting your cake in a vehicle kept at a cool temperature, and sitting it on a flat surface such as the floor of the passenger side of the car or in the boot. I take no responsibility for any damage incurred to cakes that have been picked up.
Delivery: If you'd rather not worry about the cake being destroyed when you hit a speed bump, I am happy to take care of the transport for you. Let me know if you'd prefer this option and I'll quote the delivery cost on your order confirmation. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the agreed upon delivery time. If there is no one there to receive the cake, the cake will be left unattended at the venue.
PHOTOGRAPHS
If you've gotten this far, odds are you've spent some time drooling over my cake photos. I don't blame you. They're all gorgeous, and I love taking their pictures before they head off to meet you. Mignone Cakes Pty Ltd reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cake to use for marketing and advertising purposes across my website and social media accounts.
VARIATION FROM PICTURED ITEMS
Please keep in mind that not all computer monitors are calibrated in the same way, so while I will do my very best to ensure the colours are the same, you may find there are some slight variations between what you've seen online and your physical cake.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
Mignone Cakes Pty Ltd takes disclosure of personal information very seriously. I will never disclose any of your personal information to anyone outside of our business unless you have expressly authorised me to do so, or unless required by law. Under no circumstances will I sell your information to outside companies.
AGREEMENT
Woo hoo! You made it! By proceeding with your order, you agree with the Terms & Conditions outlined above. Now let's get caking!
